In May of 1966, the LSU Board of Supervisors broke ground on 196 acres of land donated by the Arnold LeDoux family to establish Louisiana State University at Eunice. The “tri-parish” school is located along the borders of Acadia, Evangeline and St. Landry Parishes on Highway 755. LSU at Eunice prides themself on providing an education that is relevant to individuals’ interests and needs. We are proud to recognize LSUE as Member of the Month for their movements toward workforce needs; now listing programs in cyber security and pharmacy technologies. They are also now offering a pilot program called LSUE Academy for students to continue their high school degrees while simultaneously earning undergraduate credit hours. Several enrolled students are now graduating from high school while also graduating with their associate degrees. This is not only saving families money but also giving students the confidence in their ability to succeed and prosper in college. Outside of academics, LSU at Eunice has a stellar athletic program that continues to bring home the gold! LSUE Softball has five national softball championships in NJCAA Division II. Their student athletes excel on and off the field. We are very proud to recognize such an outstanding member of the Chamber, Louisiana State University at Eunice.
